How You Can Set Your Own Alert Date for Existing Cards
DIY Existing Credit Card Alert
You do not have to apply for a new credit card from this site in order to use our alert service.
So this section is designed for people who wish to be alerted when their existing credit card reaches the end of its opening offer period, or who do not wish to take out a new credit card via this site.
This works the same way as the alertsystem for cards newly applied for from the site, except that you must be aware when your existing card's opening offer (whether that offer is zero interest or low interest) expires. Calculate the number of weeks left until that expiry and scroll down the page until you see the appropriate section below. Then fill in your name and email address.
About ten days before your credit card's opening offer period comes to an end you will receive an email alerting you that it is time to transfer your balance to another card. The email will provide you with a link in order for you to do so.
This section now has a handy drop-down menu to take you to the appropriate week when your card's opening interest free (or low interest) offer is due to end. This function will only work if your browser has javascript enabled (which it usually will). If your browser is not javascript enabled you will need to go to the section manually as described just below the following drop-down menu.
